While Trinidad had Machel Montano, Jamaica had Beenie – recording his debut single with the legendary Henry Junjo Lawes at just 8 years old. 30 years on, Beenie has barely come up for air – his distinctive voice & charisma has topped single charts across the world, from ‘Matie’ to ‘Romie’, ‘Girls Dem Sugar’ to ‘Rum n Red Bull’.
In 2012 he joined the Mixpak family for his cuts on Dre Skull’s Loudspeaker & Kling Klang Riddims, along with accompanying videos. Oh lawwwwwd!
