It’s been a big week for Nigerian music: what with the current king of productions Don Jazzy made it onto the production credits for Watch the Throne. This was to be expected Kanye had signed him and the biggest artist to Good Music a month or so early (check out Pusha T’s non plussed reaction). Don Jazzy deserves it, he remains one of the few Nigerian producers that actually take the time figure out how to create many a national hit and not just focus on making a regional one.

His antithesis is the vibrant Terry G, a man who has the support of the streets. Not in a trap or die way, he just happens to make incredible fast paced, frenetic and engergetic Nigerian pop. Whilst preparing for his second single he released this single which sees him “freestyle” over the immortal Bam Bam riddim.
