This is a great EP from Mexico City newcomer Mama Testa. ‘Globalized’ sounds like a Latin interpretation of UK Funky and Garage, or in Testa’s words, “the search of a new context for guarachas and dembows, an attempt to futurize the genres.” Corcovado hipped me to this record and his remix late on the EP is real slick.
