Dubbel Dutch’s second release for Mixpak, Self Help Riddim, drops next Tuesday, 23rd October. It’s the first in a series of singles leading up to the release of a full Self Help Riddims EP in 2013. This new body of work draws inspiration from dub and dancehall reggae, ethereal grime, and pop music of the African diaspora. In a climate dominated by sparse, dystopian tracks, Self Help Riddims EP represents a yearning for a warmer, more spiritual side of music.
