With a piano sample seemingly lifted from my favourite house song of all time Pete Heller’s Big Love, this stomping classic house tracks gets a vocal kick from Bizarre Inc’s ‘I’m Gonna Get You’. Basically a load of good stuff thrown together with that classic LOL Boys feel, the guys even put this track in the ‘Feel Good’genre on their soundcloud.

Daniel David Freeman, the man behind the artwork for both Melé’s Mixpak EPs – Bombay and Starlight – will be launching a new London exhibition this week, ‘Azalea’s Amazons’:
Beach London is proud to present a solo show from London based artist Daniel David Freeman. This show explores the life of fictional character, Rick Azalea. ‘Azalea’s Amazons’ is an exploration of the character’s inner most fantasies. Using the humble mediums of felt tip pen and paper, the artists invites the viewer to engage with a range of abstract and extraordinary characters who live only in the realm of Azalea’s imagination.
Opening 12th January for private view and showing until 1st February at Beach London. Check DDF’s site for more.

Things are getting busy at Mixpak and we need some extra hands on deck starting as soon as possible. There are two intern positions up for the taking:
1) GRAPHICS/WEB SPECIALIST
Location: Anywhere.
Skills needed: You need to be well versed in building websites and/or be a graphic design expert. You will get to use your own creativity to help keep our site design fresh.
2) VIDEO SHOOTER & EDITOR
Location: New York or London.
Skills: You need to have access to your own video equipment and be available to make short videos for the Mixpak site and YouTube, and be able to edit them on your own. If you have ideas for videos that you think would work well for Mixpak, that’s a bonus.
