This weekend is the Tramlines festival in Sheffield, a free festival celebrating music in the steel city. The 2 Bears, Toddla (of course), Shy Fx and Ms Dynamite will be performing as will youngster Checan. Checan just released his new garage track with Sheffield producer Ross Orton. It’s an interesting link between a lot of older influences such as MJ Cole, Basement Jaxx and Zed Bias. You can see Checan and Ross making the track in this video here.
