Koyote – I Stand Accused Out Now

Koyote I Stand Accused Out Now

Koyote’s third in a trilogy of Mixpak EPs is out now on Mixpak! This is perhaps his deepest, most thought (and body) provoking work yet. Created solely on hardware, the EP is an idiosyncratic trip through the annals of dance music, lost in space and ready for the dancefloor. Listen to the full stream courtesy of XLR8R below.

Mixpak Family Round-Up

Mixpak_Gold_Pin_large copy

The Mixpak family is starting 2014 off strong, with some great cuts coming from all sides:

Cadenza & Mr. Lexx

Cadenza taps into his Jamaican connection for ‘Diamonds’, adding Mr Lexx to his ‘Darkest Hype’ beat that dropped last year.

Murlo is as prolific as ever, here he drops a preview of a new one on a grime tip.

Mele and MGK

Mele delivers an impressive (unofficial) remix of rapper Machine Gun Kelly.

DJ Sliink

Jersey Club producer DJ Sliink felt like giving everyone a late Christmas gift and gave away two tracks, a French Montana remix and a collab with Al Kayduh.

Fade To Mind producer and general club destroyer, Rizzla, flips a Sissy Nobby track to make you feel some kinda way.

Mr Mitch

Producer and grime terror, Mr Mitch, just premiered his new track, “Pipe Dreams,” on Sonic Router. Make sure you check out his EP coming soon on his own Gobstopper label.

Melé Vanelé: Volume 2

As you probably know from his previous releases on Mixpak or from our interview, Melé is into his computer games. After dropping his first Melé Vanelé mixtape to great fanfare last year, the sequel has landed. A bit like his DJ sets, the mixtape jumps through rattling rap instrumentals, grime, dark hardcore-influenced tracks and, of course, that much-sought-after D.M.X re-version.

The Rub x Natalie Storm

For their new EP, our friends over at The Rub have got together with Mixpak fam Natalie Storm for ‘Dutty Gyal’, a steel pan laden euphoric club track. It’s free, what you waiting for:

Pon Di Cocky (Dubbel Dutch Remix)

Aidonia was a vocalist destined for uptempo riddims, his fast flow sits just right on tracks like this and this. Seems Dubbel Dutch is in agreement with his latest remix of the Stephen Di Genius produced ‘Pon Di Cocky’, amping it up and probably bringing di-di-di-di-donia as close to trance as he’s gonna get.
