New Kingdom EP

July 27th, 2010

Riding high off L-Vis 1990’s recent release, Night Slugs crack out another genre-busting EP, this time from NYC’s Kingdom. Expect some dark, pitch-shifting, beat-chopping underground sounds, matched with some smooth RnB vocals and a bit of rave thrown in for good measure.

Check it over at Night Slugs’ myspace, and cop that ish!

“Crying On The Dancefloor”

October 28th, 2009

l-vis

Hot on the heels of a remix for the elusive, multi-culturally minded Gucci Vump (what the hell is a vump, anyway?), a recent “tweet” from East London powerhouse L-Vis 1990 provides us with a cryptic teaser about an upcoming surefire dancefloor destroyer. From the L-Vis 1990 twitter:

You thought my gucci remix was emotional.. Hold tight for my sissy nobby remix, people were cying on the dance floor last tune tonight ;)

For more info on what exactly L-Vis is referring to, keep your position locked on the Mixpak blog, exciting news to come. In the meantime, grab a copy of Christian Martin’s remix of the A-side off his new digital single on Sound Pellegrino (I guess everything on a digital single’s an A-side, right?).
