In Cajun cuisine, Nola Gumbo is an intense stewed mix of meat (or seafood), okra, celery, onions and peppers, bound to blow your head off. New Orleans Bounce team, The Bouncespot, have decided to do their very own hotpot of Louisiana music: mixing 4 original bounce tracks from Gotty Boi Chris with international remix talents Schlachthofbronx, Emynd, Top Billin, Nick Catchdubs and DJ Yoda, to name but a few. Bouillabass!
The brand new single from Gnucci Banana, ‘Famalam Jam’, was released last month and now has its very own video! This Nola bounce inspired track was produced by none other than Mixpak fam, Schlachthofbronx, and is unsuprisingly full of fun and summer vibes.
In case you weren’t familiar, it’s Ghanaian hiplife duo Ruff N Smooth that provide the sweet vocals on the new Schlachthofbronx high-energy banger, ‘Wave & Wine’. The two have been blowing up West Africa and providing an alternative to the Nigerian monopoly with their fun mix of RnB, Afropop, Hip Hop, Reggae and a splash of autotune for good measure. They released their first smash single, Swagger in 2009:
